She also is available to speak at churches, Bible studies, women’s conferences, and retreats on how Christians can utilize their faith while healing from trauma, finding one’s identity in Christ, waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises, dealing with disability and chronic pain, trusting in God’s provision, and forgiving the unforgiveable. Christine shares snippets of her powerful and unique testimony to illustrate God’s faithfulness throughout the trials of a Christian’s life.

Christine presented Equipping the Church: Straight Talk on Domestic Violence, a series of four half-day workshops at GateWay City Church in San José, CA.

Christine Hagion combines the insights of a community-based advocate, the rigor of an academic researcher, the enthusiasm of a fired-up preacher, the compassion of a trauma specialist, and the resiliency of survivor on the topics of family violence, mental health issues, and disability.
As a person with a disability, Christine speaks transparently about her struggles with chronic pain, disability, discrimination, and healthy coping strategies for the daily difficulty it presents, and helpful suggestions on how to be increasingly aware of able-bodied privilege.
